There are many voters in Washington State who vote absentee ballots. You sign
up once, and they are mailed to your home b4 every election. One reason it took
so long for Washington State to declare a winner in the Senate race was because
there were so many absentee ballots. Oregon State also has many voters who vote via the
absentee ballot.

In any case, the absentee ballot that I received in Washington State was easy to read.
The print was clear. The type face was bold. The candidates names were spaced well apart.
The ballot had multiple pages. There were no chads on the absentee ballots!

There was a box next to the candidates name. You simply colored in the square.

The people that I spoke with who voted at the polls also said their ballot was exactly like mine
and it was presented clearly so they said it was easy to vote.

There were no butterfly ballots here!
