<<.50 today>

Well, it's after 3, I think we would know by now....what are chances he gives us .25 intermeeting and maybe more in March?? Hell, it's so confusing....I can give you 10 experts that think this way and 10 experts that think the complete opposite.......

Who knows what to expect....and if all we get is .50 in march, we will sell off as we did last time....this market is on the edge of it's seat.....way too much scaredmoney out there.......IF greeny would just do the right thing and do a .50 cut now and another .50 in march, I think you would see money coming back in and staying in......The only way money comes into this market and stays right now is if greeny gives us a big surprise we dont expect.....many assume .50 is in the cards for march...he needs to do much better, or we are in trouble.......He may not feel the market controls the economy, but it sure does have a HUGE effect. I know this household has cut spending DRASTICALLY.......higher stock prices relates to reater wealth for the individual. Greater wealth creates consumer spending. As it is, with the wealth factor killed, I am not spending money on going to see a movie let alone buying new cars, camera's and etc.......this econoimy has put me in a situation where a year ago a twin turbo porsche for 180K was a possibility for me to now, where I am simply trying to pay the bills and keep food on the table. My wife and I always take alot of vacataions, buy alot of toys and etc....we are at the point now, where we are just trying to survive this mess. Heck, this past year for christmas, we decided to buy for others but save by not buying for each other...birthdays...valentines......a home cooked meal, a card and maybe a night or two in a tent in the mountains. I dont think I am alone...I think many americans are in the same boat.....I have friends that pay no attention to the market that have been contactine me asking me what happened to their 401k's and IRA's and etc......One friend...as stupid as he may be, had a couple hundred K sitting in a mutual fund last february.......He was over here last week......He mentioned he hadn't looked at a statement all year, but he thought he should have at least a 50% gain since it was not a tech heavy fund......well, he e-mailed me two days later and said it was now worth $42k....he was shocked...he had all these plans...he racked up some debt thinking he was making money...totally ignorant, but still, the point is....many americans are taking it on the chin right now......this is not going to stop unless greeny does something to help the markets, and it has to be something big...this scared money will sit out for years if there isnt a compelling reason to come back......a compelling reason will only be a very aggressive greensapn and/or earnings.....earnings are a wash for awhile, and longer if greeny doesnt get into action....anyway.....I hope he cuts, I hope he cuts soon........I am beginning to wonder if even a surprise 1.0 cut would do anything for my beaten down gorilla's......jdsu sunw and etc......they are all on life support....
