Les, you cannot lower interest rates while the CPI, PPI are rising
and there is evidence of possible inflation.
Just because people forgot about medical inflation, it does not
mean it does not exist.
Now those without insurance have to pay directly out of pocket.
Those are tremendous costs because you get charged
the costs of

medical care+
+drugs
+labor ( high costs because of highest nursing
salaries in 10 years )
+legal costs/malpractice
+treating the patient's fears/work up can be quite high
+picking a good doc ( not the HMO's hacker ); good docs cost more,

people just have no idea what they are going uo against.
Worse yet, their doctor is not there to give any help with cots.
Primarily because he is powerless to do anything about it.
