I'm not sure how much abortion has to do with gun control or attempts to ban song lyrics. I don't think the concealed carry laws amount to more "digging" but rather are part of the attempt to climb out of the hole, mostly in terms of detering crime but also in terms of individual freedom and respecting constitutional rights.
