The farm subsidy gig is very complicated. I am way more familiar with this program then I care to be. Unfortunately it is yet another example of the government trying to do a good thing and then mucking it up. The fact that they should have never become involved in the first place goes without saying. We need to exit but the big question is how without bankrupting the few that are left. Saddest part of all is that they were "saving" the family farm and instead have helped it to death. The programs actually created the corporate farms that they are now trying to kill.

All in all I guess that is rather typical of anything run by those knobs.
