I have tradestation here and I'm interested in Darvas's methods but I've never read him, just read about him and his methods. I'm not totally clear what his rules are but I want to test them -- in my spare time. I'm likely already using or testing things that are similar.

I encourage everyone interested in Darvas to PM me and we can workout rules and backtest them. I get especially interested when I hear things like "and I've thought of a number of other methods that might work as well" because it's my experience that any method fresh out of the box is going to have to be tweaked. Nothing works the way it's written but everything can be enhanced and some ideas are deserving of this type of attention. It's my opinion Darvas's methods meet this requirement and are a good starting point for further development.

Why haven't I read Darvas when I'm seriously interested? My time is limited and I'm focused on other things but I will get around to reading him someday. Sometimes just the hint of an idea from a books description without reading it leads to creative thought that doesn't occur as easily after getting absorbed in a book and reproducing it's code exactly.

I'm interested in Darvas's method's and I'm serious about mechanical systems of all types.
