Opal, I wish I had an explanation for this market. From the recent action it would seem that a company like TXN will be out of business in only a matter of months.As for what the analyst are doing now, it would be my wish that analyst could not issue any report on a company if they have been involved in any financial undertaking of the company within the last 12 months. It is a joke that an analyst would issue a downgrade NOW on a particular stock with the stock trading at $100 when they issued the rec. and now it is trading at $5 and they issue a downgrade. Go figure! I would like to think we are reaching a near term bottom....but with the Dow down over 200 points and the NASDAQ only down 50 points today I'm afraid we have more on the downside....until we get the blow-out in bottom indexes. I'm only thankful......NO MARGIN!.
