Today's PR stops the pre-CC slide at $1.56. At the CC Layton must be able to point to something tangible in addition to Onstar.

What was done between the July 24 PR (posted below) and today? Were features added? Were there problems? No one has said; but Kristin Andersen, the GMGC VP in the earlier PR below, is no longer a GMGC VP.

General Magic Delivers First Phase of GM OnStar Virtual Advisor

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (July 24, 2000) - General Magic, Inc. (Nasdaq: GMGC), a leading voice application service provider, today announced it has delivered the first phase of the OnStar Virtual Advisor application to General Motors' OnStar. OnStar selected General Magic, late last year, to develop the voice application behind Virtual Advisor, which will provide hands-free voice-activated access to web-based information services in vehicles. Internal testing of this initial phase by OnStar and General Magic is currently underway.
