Yes Gregory I am. Let's start with Octel's SP offering.

I would first like to hear from you on IMA. What should Octel investors think about a grand announcement in 1995 about this revolutionary new VM platform (IMA) to be released in 1996? It is now half-way through 1997, and we hear nothing from the Octel folks about IMA. Rather they are trying to market Sierra as a "state-of-the-art voice messaging system". You and I both know better than that. IMA is appearantly in trouble.

Without IMA, Octel's large capacity system is Sierra. As SP represents a good chunk of Octel business, how long do you expect this 386 based system that is totally proprietary to hold market share. Shall we compare Sierra to CGRM Series 6 or BSN Access? or both? Your Choice.

While Octel may be doing fine in the CPE market (and probably will) how can they maintain their presence in the SP market with Sierra. In my opinion, they can not. THis is why I am bullish on Octel.
