I'm confused, too.

I thought I remember Brad talking about how the lamp-based RTP was a good match with Mattson's RTP. I thought he wanted to offer both kinds to the customer and thereby offer a complete product line making them a strong #2 in the business. Also, there was a lot of talk about the advantages of getting big. Now they'll be getting smaller instead of bigger.

I don't doubt that Brad is making the best decisions for the company, but I'm getting confused trying to follow a quickly-developing story.
