I am in complete agreement with you about the loathesome dissembling that goes on in the environmental community regarding the safety of nuclear power. It astonishes me how otherwise thoughtful and concerned people can be so irrationally wrong on this issue. Unless, of course, the snake oil salesmen with all the natural gas in their pipelines see that it is oh so very convenient to have a hysterical reaction in this country to nuclear power because administered correctly, it takes the away the possibility of market corners like we are witnessing in California. Just a thought. Environmentalist wackos and conniving oil & gas men in bond to screw the middle class? Naw, too preposterous. Couldn't happen in a first world country with a fine educational system........ or could it?
