I agree with your points, Phil. The problem is that in a bear market a rally can be "close" for quite awhile, perhaps because our minds are still used to bull market timing. Meanwhile that bear market can evaporate your gains in one or two days. I can be happy with 40 % in two months. BTW:It's amazing how much this market reminds me of the mid '70's, there is so little good news.
