I was on a smaller line, now bankrupt. Both Holland America and Princess seem to have comparable products and are foremost among the tour operators in Alaska. Because the cities and towns are quite small there we ran into folks from both tours along the way. Both run their own private railcars to Denali from Anchorage. If you want to save money and have a real adventure I have heard that the state runs mail boats on the same route with staterooms. A native will have to vet this tho.
