Since when is a marginal player like Kyocera an expert on European GSM sales? ---------- I agree... I suspect KYO wanted to contrast dire GSM predictions with their 25% growth projection in cdma handsets: "...hopes to sell 15 million handsets worldwide in the year starting April 1, up from 12 million units planned for this business year..." That said, I fully expect to find Europe mired in wireless recession come 2002 - and I've not manufactured a single handset... I do, however, have possession of all of the 1x handsets in the world, save 1 that I loaned to IJ for his 3GSM interview... (( just a gentle reminder, Eric)) ben
