If Greenspan looks beyond the current spike in inflation, then at least a 1/4 pt drop is in order. This economy is a train wreck in the making.
Much of the increase likely stemmed from energy, which has leveled off some.
With all the cutbacks and "streamlining", cost controls will be monitored closely. Buyers will be sensitive to vendors with out of line price increases.
