Well I finally got my whole system back up and running, Thanks for all the help. But after reformatting reloading and all the other stuff..Which has been quite the learning experience I might add... My original problem is back...The computer freezes up without warning and the only way to get it back is to reboot... All was not for Nothing though... While I was stuck in 16 colors everything was fine... When I downloaded the latest driver for my video card( Note I did not use my disk told it was better to download the latest driver)and then updated to 256 colors Boom it froze... then again and again... went back to 16 colors and no freeze... I think it is the video card "Elsa Gladiac" not the driver"GFORCE2" because I downloaded the driver this time...Any suggestions would be appreciated...
BTW The suggestion "Buy A new Video card" Has already come to mind...
Thanks again..
Steve
