I thought someone just yesterday said DISH has nothing to do w/Cube. In Dish has lost faith in Divicom then why wouldnt they use a competitors encoding chips that work just as well. Lets face it; the competition has caught up w/Cube. I didnt want to believe it. But at this last convention in San Jose (replitech) I met up w/ an associate in my field who felt that things are unraveling all too fast in milpitas. It seems as if the Alphastar has gone bad(BK for those who dont know-over 10+ million). That DVD is here and Cube is passively involved w/lower echelon manufacturers.Worse, that JVC has no intention of intention going forward w/a cube chip and yes they expect to have DVD by christmas or soon thereafter (mind you just from one of the DVD representatives at the show- not a insider). Blah, Blah, Blah. i'm sorry fellows but things are bleak. Get out of the Senate, stop the bitching( I wonder if Digital TV will be govt regulated?-C'mon. And start hiring a first-class marketing team. For those of you who have met Mary-shes a first class B@#ch. The personality of a Armadillo. Aikens who is a self-admitted #'s guy who no nothing of whats going on w/in the company. Balakanski-a spoiled rotten, egocentric intellectual who thinks because he caught a fish in the pond he can catch fish anywhere. The truth is he's been beat. He was at the right place(China) at the right time and when push came to shove the snotty little white boy got WHACKED by Chan and co.... So lets use are resources and go elsewhere. I dont mean ESST but to the quality. Theres too much talent and knowledge here. P.S. Has anyone noticed Earl lurking lately?
