There was some significant buying today when the NASDAQ was tanking about 10:30 EST. It does look like there is some real institutional support coming in, the first time I've seen it this week. Maybe the market can stage a modest rally, at least. John, Check the intraday chart on the Dow today...at one point in the last hour, it went nearly vertical and inspite of all odds managed to finish up albeit a fraction. I think that vertical movement signaled either short covering or heavy buying pressure....either way I see it as a positive. ted
