You forgot to mention that x86-64 support will require a new OS specifically written for that architecture, not to mention recompiled applications to take advantage of the x86-64 expanded register files, etc.

Heh, and to think that the AMDroids said that no one will ever want to recompile applications.

By the way, we still haven't heard whether Clawhammer already taped out or not. You'd think that even the YUK Register would hear about it the moment the base layers are sent to the fabs?
