re: Mobile Internet definition??

<< Does that include SMS messages to and from the internet as email?? >>

No!

<< What about WAP done the BT way using SMS messages?? >>

No!

UNLESS and ONLY UNLESS you subscribe to "Genie".

Then you are a certified card carrying BT Mobile Web Head.

"Mmail" and "Infotouch" do not count.

Over here at Verizon, if I do NOT pay the good Verizon folks $6.95 per month to enjoy that great experience known as WAP using what they call "Mobile Web". I am not a "Mobile Web" sub. I can however cable my phone to my Palm and surf all day with useable stuff (not WAP Crap) using ProxiNet or AvantGo at speeds equivalent to a V.90 ... but I'm not a Verizon BT Mobile Web Head.

Which reminds me ... I forgot to cancel that $6.95 WC add on when I was at Verizon Tuesday playing with the old pdQ "Brick" that Dr. Jacobs was showing off in Cannes.

I did go up to "MyVerizon" last week and cancel the 4 bundles of stock quotes (3 quotes per bundle) they were pushing down to me each afternoon. Each one taking about 10 keystrokes to review and clear.

I hate WAP.

I don't need "Always On". I need "Never On".

Can't wait for the Kyocera 6035 brick.
