Yes, there are a lot of interesting groups out there waiting for a faith-based initiatives bill to pass:
Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists (Al should like that one), Shinto, Pagans, Druids, Scientologists, Wiccans, Satanists, Zoroastrians (sp?),....
As Robertson observed, this is Pandora's Box. And I can see no way the government can deny funds to any of the above groups. If they try, I do believe the USSC will make them pay. Or declare the bill simply unconstitutional. For some, religious freedom can be a real drag. |
