I agree. Either they all qualify, or none of them do.

I am surprised it took this long for it to become obvious.

It is just as obvious to me that when Islam is the majority religion, certain currently popular notions about what is appropriate in terms of religious observation in public schools will, among some groups whose children come home from school with "Allah be praised" escaping their lips, change rather abruptly.

Some people bow their heads and want others to do so, in the public schools. Others knock their heads against the floor five times a day. Why not in school?

And the new Muslim majority will have a strong argument when they say that the very parents most objecting felt it was just fine when "God" or "Jesus" was the prevailing reference. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the word "racist" entered the dialog!

What an interesting place the world is. You'd think predictability would make it boring, but no.
