February 14, 2001 International FiberCom Inc. announced that its Network Services Group has received the necessary permits under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to begin work on the construction phase of a design-build contract with Reston, VA-based Velocita (formerly PF.Net) for the engineering and installation of a fiber-optic network in California.
