To All-Especially Fellow Lurkers,

It seems to me that we have minutely examined each and every facet of this stock/company and are running out of raw data to chew on for now. This dissection process has produced a thread rich in information for those diligent enough to "mine" it. Combine this with the investor package, government securities data, company web site (enhanced and updated) and pretty accessable principals and you have most all you need to fairly evaluate IPM for possible investment IMO.

My TA still indicates at least the start of a period of base-building to repair the technical damage caused by the recent dip. I had expected another spike down today and instead it held nicely at the $6 level. The danger of another dip to $5.50 still cannot be ruled out however, but IMO the possibility now stands at 50/50.

I believe that even with South Africa's output, demand for platinum will continue to run ahead of supply because the Russians are having quite a time coming up with metals due to their rotten infrastructure, bureaucracy, and non-payment of the miners and this will continue to drive prices up on balance into the summer at least. The ripple effect on metals derivatives in general will IMO at least put a solid floor under gold near 340 if not push it steadily up going into the summer, so as long as IPM can at least prove up the gold reserves soon the price uptrend will resume in a big way. However, I am concerned that there exists a POSSIBILITY that the metals derivatives markets may be so roiled by events that major problems in the stock and bond markets would ensue and make it very difficult for us to take any profits we have racked up by then. As always some diversification into cash and the physical metal is a good idea and probably an even better one these days. I sincerely hope we all can walk away from the "table" with a nice pile of "chips" when it is all over. All the best!
