Competitive? I would say the Utah Jazz are every competitive
in the NBA finals. It took a buzzer shot by Michael to edge out
the Western Champions in Game One 84-82. And lets face it....
Karl is up against it with the severe floor burn he must play
with during this series. Look for Utah to be extremely tough
in Salt Lake City this weekend...although obviously the Bulls
have enough left to repeat as NBA champions again this year.
And yes, Brinker has repeatedly said the Bulls will reign again
as NBA champs. His only point was that if the Bulls had to lose
the finals...he would be very happy to see the Jazz go to the
top of the heap. He also acknowledged he misspoke by inadvertently
calling Malone Moses a couple times.
