Question for those wanting eMini's...?
The new charges for the eMini's are what caused me to consider the following. Are you using eMini's to trade the futures themselves or just as an indicator for trading other equities? I personally just use it (NQ01H) while I trade equities. Last night (using NexTrend - it has the ability to do overlays) I mapped the NDX, QQQ, and NQ01H on top of each other. The NQ01H on the chart (after the fact) didn't appear to signal any changes sooner than QQQ or NDX. So it seemed logical to me that I should be able to use QQQ in the same way. During the day today (realtime) I tried to use NDX but it was too thin to get a feel for the action. I tried QQQ but just couldn't get comfortable with it. Plus I'm concerned that the QQQ data may be coming in delayed since it trades so many shares. I know what high volume does to quotes (a few seconds delay). Anyway would be interested in the views of others that do what I'm doing. Thanks in advance for any replies. John....
