Jim, I grew up in Los Alamos, and I can tell you exactly what Star Wars is about. I've seen these boondoggles a dozen times now. It is about jobs, and military contractors and stimulating the economy. The collateral technology from a Star Wars project may be quite valuable, but the target technology is a complete waste of time and money. Star Wars is Keynesian economics hidden behind a conservative facade. Scumbria
