Dear dear dear E, as a liberal I don't understand your extremely narrow minded opposition to faith based initiative's because of intolerance to some religions. E, I'm a Catholic and I'm am an American. Christ says all are my neighbor and I should treat them as I would treat myself. As an American I believe that the simple words that all men are created equal says it all about what being an American is about.

Now those who see faith based initiative as a glass half empty are against it. I see faith based initiative as a glass 15/16 full. I have no doubt that just as their are Catholics who I feel have a sick concept of what is right and wrong like Senator Kennedy and their are Christian's who are evil to the core like clinton there are also wiccan's and Muslims who aren't very nice. But I also know that the vast majority of individual who live a committed life to whatever religion when they go to serve their fellow man will follow the spirit of the law and deliver 3 times to 5 time the benefit of every dollar they spent over hired help of the Government.

True liberal's like myself believe in the fundamental good of individuals. I am suspect of the motives of any who say I know how to spend your money better than you.

Fascist's and socialist and communists are totally opposed to unlimited individual freedom.
