David, are you not carrying this sharade a little too far. Let say they wrote (May 4th) that they will keep us updated periodically (I di not know why you thing ths has to be dily or weekly or even monthly). Fine they did so, then they found out there is nothing to update daily or weekly or monthly, it takes time to get these results from the 3000 lbs of concentrate. These concentrates might even have to be further concentrated (after all, if I remember a calcultion I did sometime on this thread, they contain about .3 to maybe 1% of goodies.
So they were too ptimistic , they thought they can update, but drafting a release every week saying "we expect results within so many week" and indexing this number down every week would not be constructive.
Now you tell us their lab should now how much goodies they have in this concentrate, and I am sure they indeed know, but the problem is that their lab results have always had better recoveries that outside refiners, so they should wait until they have a refiner report. Yes, it seems someone went back and changed the text a little. I would not be surprised if the original text was drafted by McIntyre and when Jensen finally had a chance to see it, or someone pointed it to him, he directed McIntyre to change the statement to something more rational. We had such an happening before.
The web site is not GPGI's it is McIntyre's and GPGI cannot force him to do anything. I agree with you that this is not an ideal situation but that is what is.
