Allen thanks for the good news on RW disks So, GE/ECD is going to produce disks themselves and produce machines for other manufacturers they feel can be trusted to pay royalties, answers my question from a week or so ago. The 15 gig disk "tech developed by others" is probably referring to Calimetrics ML (multilevel) rewritable disks using phase change material to achieve 3X capacity and transfer rate, which was supported by a $10 mill ATP grant in Oct. 97 to Calimetrics, ECD & Polaroid.
