Lets not forget the power and influence that will be exerted by the Operator's Bankers and ultimately their shareholders. If those in power at the operators feel their security is seriously threatened, they will jump ship pretty quick. Some on the other thread sense that Dr J's little promotional tour over on the Continent is a sign of weakness. Nothing could be further from the truth IMO. I think he now senses that it is time to go for the jugular. One big defection in Europe and they'll all fall like dominoes. It's quite conceivable that W-CDMA, as envisioned by the GSM Guild, may never see the light of day. Let the games begin!
