Joe, I've already said before that the mainstream might not care for the performance anymore. They only care about performance that they can buy for $500-1500, and its no secret that Pentium 4 doesn't quite reach those price points yet. Pentium 4 and Foster will shine on server and workstation applications, however, where the bandwidth and the performance really does matter, and where there is greater control over the software.
