Subject: Fridays

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My analysis is not usually this simplistic, but I'll bet no one has noticed that after 7 Fridays in the year 2001, there has yet to be an up Friday in either the S&P cash or futures. The average Friday decline has been a very large 1.26% on the cash and 1.34% on the futures. That might not please the real hungry bears like myself, but it wouldn't be bad, would it? That's around 16-17 S&P points.
