DS only to the uninformed was WCDMA bad for QCOM. It's delay is a problem. Irwin himself said it wasnt the technology but quick adoption. He said this is the problem that kept him up at night. His nightmare is a reality. Qcom will try to spin it as an OPP to sell CDMA2000 but the issue is that 3G is unnesecary and to costly. Qcom's growth will now depend soley on CHINER, and 1xrt upgrade and multimode chip. The story is still good, but this issue cant be swept under the carpet either.
