If there are cutomers with money, yes? But the credit crunch in Telco land will not provide liquidity for ANYBODY to easily upgrade. Qcom's advantage is their host of 2.5G stuff that they can sell as bandaid's, as well as their multimode chip. I dont excpect to see any 3G systems for 2 years, outside of Japan. There are no killer apps, and no money. A recession is coming and frivalties like surfing whille you comute will be one casualty.
