JRI, Les,one more thing about PPIs and CPIs: several folk have been suspecting for some time now that the BLS' PPI and CPI numbers " had been cooked " in the previous administration when they came in so low in spite of tremendous increase in Energy prices, last summer & fall for example. Am I seeing a conspiracy last year of "cooking the PPI/CPI numbers " to " make things look good " so that Algor would be elected "? Well, one needs to look at as to what amount of lying and cheating has gone on with the previous Administration, to answer that question. What if this Administration says: " hey we are going to put out whatever PPI/CPI bad numbers come out, and let Congress and Alan G. deal with the truth. Problem is, however , that Jack Nickolson said: " You can't handle the truth ", Les, PPI/CPI, any comments.....? TA PS, I agree with Carter being an honorable man.
