George: JSE Golds went up 4.7% today. sharenet.co.za (Click on more spot prices) I don't know what method(s) Zeev uses to forecast prices so I can't say whether one should or shouldn't bet against him, as you say. All the same it's interesting that neither he, you, Bob or myself (each presumably using a different forecasting method) see POG above $300. I think some chaps on the forum are "exuberant" because of the announcement that SA gold production had fallen. However, I have no doubt that there is a whole lot ready to come on stream should the gold price go up a bit.
