"Key to KPNQwest's announcement was the decision to withdraw from providing pan-European DSL services. This was followed by a number of high profile withdrawals from the U.K.'s DSL trials. Incumbents could squeeze the market further by reducing Internet service rates on integrated services digital network (ISDN) to near dial-up costs."

It is not going to take off here either.
