Thanks for that run-down... It looks like they are sending a FED crisis manager over to the treasury:

------Peter Fisher, a 15 year high-ranking NY Fed official, is expected to jump over to the Treasury as O'Neill's choice for undersecretary for domestic finance. Fisher adds some financial expertise to the Treasury team given his involvement in the LTCM bailout and his long history of monitoring the financial markets. Fisher will serve as the counterpart of Stanford economist John Taylor, the undersecretary for international affairs. ----
