A marketing ploy? Jeez, one of the worst marketing ploys I've ever seen. Dr. J.'s statements were certainly known by him to be throat cutters for Q before they were made.

Dr. J. has consistently stated that any delay in WCDMA will hurt QCOM. Why would he be so definitive in predicting a delay in WCDMA rollouts if he knows it will hurt Q's share price? To stimulate a market known to be hostile to QCOM? I don't think so. Surely better marketing ploys are available.

If Dr. J's statements are untrue, they should be easily refuted. I don't see that happening yet.

The ML analyst is delirious.
