he certainly isn't. trust me, i have followed Gross's pronouncements over quite some time, and his advice has without exception proved to be valuable.

look at the evidence he presents...it is very convincing.

btw, this doesn't mean you should stay away from bonds - only that the returns won't be as good as they have been recently. depends of course how bad the economic downturn gets. if the credit bubble collapses, government bonds will continue to perform well, although i would at this point prefer the shorter maturities.
