CA Tech, what is your take on the QCOM news. Yes, a delay in w-cdma hurts qcoms earnings. But hasnt IJ basically told the world today that wcdma will not be ready for a long time, while cdma-2000 is ready to go this year. If any european telcos decide to overlay their systems with a cdma-2000 system qcom makes more and makes it sooner than if w-cdma had been rolled out in 2-3 years. To me it sounds like qcom has launched the final attack today by exposing w-cdma and the europeans. If the stock price gets depressed for now, so be it. The technicians I know say high 30s as the likely low for qcom, any comments.
