Few want to sell their gold stocks after this morning's rise. Is gold representing a move to a defensive posture, an aversion, or is it discovering a new reality, an attraction? FED's matched sales this morning indicate they don't like the persistent price pressures which shouldn't be evident at all.

Surprisingly, corporations must start raising prices regardless, because law won't allow them to get rid of employees fast enough. This has nothing to do with pricing power, but everything to do with avoidance of bankruptcy. It is the old economy companies which are most at risk. The only way that these companies can raise prices is if FED will allow them to do so. Gold is guessing FED will cave in.
