"And SCC holds a lot more potential for OE than just conventional 4S DFI. This system meets the approaching emissions limits without exotic cats..." I thought conventional 4S DFI met approaching emissions limits as well. Are you pinpointing the use of the spark injector as the improved design feature that allows easy retrofit?

Orbital DFI is the way to go to achieve emissions and fuel economy improvements practically, and I think the evidence is already in. When I invested (I am a professional engineer, mechanical specialty) this was clear to me intuitively based on the descriptions of the alternatives. Now it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt to me, and I am not generally a chump in regards to technology. I laughed out loud in a meeting when Molten Metals (the former MLTN) was showing its technology (I swear it was so ridiculously an obvious con I thought it was a joke) and Lockheed Martin invested $50 million in it.

I like Orbital's business plan - forming beachheads and not selling themselves cheap. I think they have the opportunity for exponential income growth by greatly increased revenues that will not be counteracted by greatly increased costs (higher margins).

I am really hating their communication right now and losing trust in management's ability to execute because of it.
To realize the potential of the investment, or as they term it "optimise shareholder value", they are going to have to sell the technology to people who don't understand the nuts and bolts of it.
