They were announced on CNBC. He said there was a 60% chance that FED would lower the fed funds rate by 50 basis points next week and that he was alerting Bear Sterns' sales force accordingly. Angell is a loose cannon and even though he is somewhat a believer in discipline, he ranks below Rivlin in competence. In fact, Rivlin is acting intelligently since she left government while Angell is acting more and more like he works for Bear Sterns.
