MAX Pain onMarch QCOM options is still 80. I suspect we'll be close to that on March 16 when options expire. Some of the short sellers in the 50's are likely to get a royal screwing and be forced to cover at much higher prices because this whole event was based largely on erroneous news reporting as follows:
1) FT false/misleading report that IJ said all significant 3G commercialization to be delayed until 2002-2004
2) Total failure of adequate coverage of recent news from India and China.
I have little respect for Deutshce Bank Alex Brown. I wonder where was Credit Suiese First Boston. They usually participate in gang bangs.
