yes i think so...but i'm open to the other possibility too.
no way to be certain...but i suspect that once certain strike prices on outstanding index options fall, a waterfall decline could ensue. essentially derivatives driven. don't forget, the NAZ did a 34 percenter in one week last year. no reason why the NYSE can't do the same.
