It is the grossest overgeneralization that you make. I doubt that many leaders of corporate america would condone chaining people to their workbenches or making them defacto slaves. Where these conditions exist they must be ended. But don't try to equate wages in a third world country with a low cost of living to those here and then jump to conclusions. My only message is to study a situation thoroughly before condeming it. Don't assume that $1 a day somewhere isn't a good wage. I am not up to date on wage rates but can remember when 35 cents per hour plus breakfast and lunch gave many Singaporeans a way to the middle class and beyond.
