Hi everybody,

I'm sure this question has been asked before and I'd find the answer if I wade through the messages. I have a 4 gigabytes drive on my ibm compatible computer (just one drive), running Windows 98, with 36 meg memory. The drive is running out of space, and I would like to install a new drive (30 gig, 7200 rpm), and make this new drive as the C drive, and move the old drive as a D drive.

My question is... how do I transfer everything from the old drive to the new C drive without having to re-install all the programs? Can I use laplink? Should I restart Windows into DOS and use the DOS copy command? Or, is there Windows software for me to clone the new drive? TIA

Ally
