The Fool article references the lily ponds directly in the "spreadsheet" link:

"In fact, it was less than a week ago I received a spreadsheet modeling more than $1.4 billion in royalty-based revenue in 2005. Before we get a better idea how much royalty-based revenue Wind River can pull in for specific verticals, projections are nothing more than gobbledygook at this point."

I think we need to do a much better job explaining the assumptions underlying the spreadsheets, so that they are regarded as projections and not gobbledygook.

I'm curious what people think about the risk/reward of market reaction to WIND's upcoming earnings release and new guidance, whatever it is.
